
Miami, Fla., June 14, 2008 - HOPS, a leading provider of data analytic tools and products, today announced that Chris Kallio has joined the organization Director of Healthcare Product Strategy.
Kallio has spent 15 years as an information technology professional in a variety of employed and self-employed capacities, including content/data engineering, project and product management and Web content design.
"Chris is a strategic and knowledgeable professional with substantial healthcare experience," said Simeon Kohl, CEO of HOPS. "His skills and thought leadership will be a great complement to our team."
Prior to HOPS, Kallio worked for Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), an industry-leading supply chain solutions company in the healthcare industry. As product manager for GHX’s product AllSource®, Kallio focused on increasing adoption while concurrently increasing the scope of the AllSource® platform to include real-time purchase order validation options. He also worked to position the product to support automated data synchronization across manufacturer, distributor and provider systems.
At GHX, Kallio also championed the first content-cleansing project for Healthtrust Purchasing Group. As Project Manager, he facilitated the development of GHX’s first integrated content delivery service and designed automation mechanisms to process and cleanse more than 650,000 electronic items. Kallio also coordinated between client developers, GHX clinicians and GHX operations in Bangalore, India.
Kallio received a B.A. in International Relations and Comparative Politics from Oklahoma State University in 1992.
