John Moses

John Moses has more than 24 years of leadership, management, and high-performance engineering and software development in the electronics, robotics and data processing industries. As Chief Technology Officer, John oversees HOPS' technology vision and strategy. He is one of the principal architects of the HOPS data processing engine, and is responsible for the overall architecture of the technology behind the company's products. He also works to develop cutting-edge, new technology solutions that can benefit from the HOPS data processing engine.

John has provided guidance and direction of HOPS technology from its early days through its present, mature form - through several major infrastructure changes and numerous new-feature rollouts. His experience at HOPS includes the analysis, design and project management of data processing applications and systems for several major corporate clients, including Liberty Mutual Insurance, Corning Fiberoptics, First Data Corporation, Blockbuster Entertainment, Kaiser Permanente and Walgreens.

Prior to his work at HOPS, John spent 8 ½ years with Motorola Inc. in both the portable products and corporate technology divisions. He served as the lead software engineer during the construction of 22 unique robotic workstations, including Motorola's first successful odd-parts robotic assembly station, globally accurate enough to place extremely fine parts without field adjustments. John's expertise in robotic machine vision and accuracy/distortion mapping led to his systems being adopted by two other Motorola robotic facilities. He also served as one of the key engineers on Motorola's Malcolm Baldridge award-winning vehicular adapter for portable radios.

John is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a Masters of Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University. He is a board member and officer for the public charity Steven L Brown Foundation and a certified instructor of the personal development workshop The Living Course.
