
In his role as Vice President of Professional Services, Craig Hemingway leads the activities that keep HOPS focused on client needs. His team supports all client initiatives from support, development and planning, to timely delivery of all objectives.
At the same time, Craig ensures that his team's employees are trained properly, and has initiated a mentoring program for the Professional Services department.
Craig has more than 31 years in the IT industry and with a specific focus in the last 15 years on project management and client services. He has a balanced background, consisting of experience in the technical arena and many years as a lead of client-facing technology groups within the financial and healthcare industries.
Before joining HOPS in 2006, Craig held a role as Vice President of Application Development for a major, private New York City insurance firm with responsibility for the daily support of the client pension system. The pension system contained approximately $15 billion dollars in client assets and processed two million transactions a day.
Prior to that position, he was an officer in charge of support of the daily principal trading system at a major brokerage firm also located in New York. This system supported the firm's internal traders and their trading positions on a daily basis.
Craig received a Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
